Ever since I was a little girl, I had an artistic sense of direction. I loved painting, drawing, doing crafts and taking pictures with a variety of film cameras I had while growing up. My first "real" camera was a Kodak Instamatic 110 Camera. In high school photography courses, I was a little shutterbug with that camera. I developed my own black and white negatives and pictures. I enjoyed those photography classes way back then. I learned a lot. My dad had the "Brownie" Camera that I enjoyed using too!
Then a bit later on I was in front of the camera, modeling in some photo shoots, promotional and various other kinds of modeling as well. Now time has taken me back behind the lens.
I've always had an appreciation for things of beauty and I've always thrived on having things of beauty around me. From the way I decorate my home, my pets, to the great outdoors, I always feel the most comfort surrounding myself with things of beauty. In my opinion, my photography is very upbeat and brightly colored. I've actually been called the Thomas Kinkade of digital photography. Instead of the Painter of Light, I have been called the Photographer of Light. I love working with bright luminous colors that bounce off the page and make you say, "Wow!" It sure cures depression, especially living in western New York where winters are just a little too long. I want to share that uplifting, vibrant, brand new sunny day feeling with others through my photography. We've been blest with such a beautiful world. Why not preserve that beauty in our most intimate of places, where we feel most safe and secure, our homes.
That is why I enjoy making my range of photography so different. I want to photograph the world. Animals, Flowers to Landscapes and everything in between, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. If it's picturesque, I want to capture it. Photography for me is a constant work in progress. I'm always trying to improve it, make it even better and learn. It's always been my dream to make my living doing something I love and surrounding others in comfort and beauty and giving an oasis to folks to come home to, or even go to work to, like the office. I hope you enjoy my art and discover for yourself that it's an "adventure at a glimpse".
